Welcome to Auburn Middle School!
My hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:45AM-3:45PM. I provide individual and group educational based counseling. The following groups are available this year:
Problem Solvers--A group for children to learn new ways to solve conflict. In this group, we will be sharing and learning about new ways to solve conflict and have control over our choices.
Banana Splits--A group for children of divorced or separated parents. In this group, we will be sharing and learning about experiences related to coping with a divorce or separation.
Marvelous Me--A group for children struggling with self-esteem issues. In this group, we will be sharing and learning about ways to feel good about ourselves and demonstrate a positive self-image.
Girls Lunch Bunch--A group for girls dealing with everyday peer issues, self-esteem, body image, relational aggression and stress management.
Growing Through Grief--A group for children who have lost a loved one. In this group, we will discuss the different stages of grief, identify coping strategies and ways to address emotions. This is a 6 week session that will be offered in the Fall and again in the Spring.
